White Oak - Hickory
We specialize in white oak wood, flooring, wide, long white oak lumber and hickory timbers. We reclaimed white oak and hickory from old barns and building that are ready to be salvaged and recycled. 
Old white oak lumber and often hickory was the species of choice for old barns and buildings. They are the sturdiest of hardwoods and have provided decades of solid service.
We also recycle hickory and oak lumber harvested from responsibly managed forests, that may contain dead fallen and dead standing timber.
In keeping with our practice of using reclaimed, we utilize dead standing trees killed by insects or natural causes, yet remain fixed in the ground by their network of roots. This allows the wood to dry naturally to a lower moisture content, which speeds up kiln drying.
We mill our old reclaimed white oak and hickory timbers into one inch and thicker lumber and planks. We also resaw the old beams into specific sizes for certain timber frame, or new construction projects. We create beautiful wide plank floors.
